Joined Explorer Investments in September 2023 and is a member of the Private Equity – Buyouts team, responsible for monitoring portfolio companies and for the analysis and execution of investment and divestment operations.
Previously, he was CFO and head of the Logistics department at Amorim Luxury Group. He began his career at Barclays Bank in Lisbon. He worked in Barclays' Investment Banking division in London, Madrid, Lisbon and Athens, where he accompanied some of Portugal's largest companies. He also worked in the Investment Banking division of ALANTRA, in Lisbon. He co-founded the big data company Stokedge and was a non-executive director of iParque.
He has a degree in Management from Nova SBE, an MBA from The Lisbon MBA (Nova SBE, Católica in partnership with MIT Sloan), and took part in INSEAD's Advanced Corporate Finance and Harvard Business School's Private Equity and Venture Capital executive courses
