Maria started working at Explorer Investments in 2019, joining the Private Equity – Buyouts team in March 2022, monitoring portfolio companies as well as the analysis and execution of investments and disinvestments. She previously collaborated in the Private Equity – Growth Capital area, where she was responsible for the analysis and execution of investments of Explorer Growth Funds and for following-up Fundo Revitalizar Norte portfolio companies.
She did a 9-month internship with the Global Markets team of Novo Banco, monitoring the portfolio of investments in corporate bonds and contributing to the initiative and analysis of new investments.
Maria has a degree in Economics (2018) from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an intensive course in Finance taken at the London School of Economics (2017).
