Ricardo Nuno André

Investment Professional – Hospitality

Ricardo is a member of the Private Equity – Hospitality team, where he currently leads Hospitality Fund I. With more than 15 years in the industry, he brings hands-on experience across both luxury — having been instrumental in building the Octant brand — and upscale hospitality, which is the strategic focus of the current Fund. His work spans the full investment lifecycle — from acquisitions and fundraising to strategy, financial planning/ execution and recruiting the operational talent that brings each asset to life.

EXPERIENCE

His career combines top-tier consulting with senior corporate leadership. He spent seven years at McKinsey & Co (2007–2014) leading projects across Portugal, the United Kingdom and Africa in the financial, telecommunications and energy sectors, with a focus on strategy, marketing/sales and risk. He subsequently joined EDP – Energias de Portugal (2014–2018), where he ran the Holding Company’s Strategic Risks and Transversal Projects Area.
